Fine Turned Wood Products

Turned wood products including bowls, candle sticks, plates, hair-pins, chop sticks and other items are made of exotic, beautiful woods.  Finished with tung oil, these wonderful gifts are ready for years of use. To clean, simply thoughtfully wipe them with mild soap and water.

Mixed wood table lamps, standing roughly 2 feet high, are particularly striking.

Wood pens and wood pencils, also made from beautiful exotic woods, make one proud to write and are unusual gifts.

Among woods frequently used are cherry, cocobolo, bubinga, walnut, paduak, chechen, granadillo, purplehart, yellowhart, maple, ambrosia maple, spalted maple, ipe wood, lacewood, zebrawood, wenge, chakte coc, bloodwood and rosewood.  Maple and cherry burls result in particularly striking items.  These highly grained woods hold their beauty for display and for use.  As
is true for all wood products, these items bring one the most enjoyment if they are touched and used.

With the exception of candlesticks, I almost never make the same item twice.  Consequently, the pictures shown below are only representative of available products.  If you are interested in my work, please contact me and let me know the type of item that interests you.  I'll arrange to send you pictures and prices of items I have in inventory so that you may make a thoughtful decision.
